Ki Chains!!

I LOVE having my new key chain from Ki! Now I never have to put my purse on the floor again! Ki just got in some adorable key chains that are super functional! They loop around your purse handle so you can easily hang it from almost anything you desire. I love them!! I've got a great ostrich one on my keys right now! Yayy! Here's some examples of their uses...

Football Ki-ck Off & Shop!

Ki Designs will be having a tailgating sip & shop next week! Mark your calendars!! Thursday, September 9th, 6-9pm!

Trick or Treat Necessities

I love Halloween!! I love sitting on my front porch with a glass of wine (in my BOOze glass!) and passing out candy to all the cute little trick-or-treaters. I'm not a fan of making my front porch spooky/creepy though because I'd hate to scare away any ballerinas or not-so-brave spidermen. So, I've got these glittery witches and cats for front doors. Stop by and get yours today! It'll make your front door be the hit of the street come October 31st!

Sneakin and Spookin

Some spooky items are sneaking into Ki. Check out these fun spider bracelets which can also be used as fabulous napkin rings($8)!

Also pictured: Skull Wine Charms($9), Skull Wine Stoppers($15), & Glittered Owl Wall Decor($15)

Tweet Tweet!!

Ki has joined Twitter, so now everyone please become a follower!! You know you want to know when I get new fun things in or when Yoko is doing a new trick! So go here!
Oh, and check out these great new ice buckets! Everyone needs a little animal print this fall...

Owl You Doin?

Slowly but surely things are falling into place in preparation for fall. Well, maybe not outside, but at least the store is changing seasons... I'm counting down the days until Halloweezie can explode in Ki. So until then, I've scattered a few items for the occasion but am refraining to cover the entire(small) space with black glitter. I'm refocusing my energy into more appropriate not-even-September-things: football. I also noticed that the owl was upset that he wasn't going to make it up to Tallahassee for any of the games this season so I gave him his own headdress to rock in the store. He was so pleased with it that he asked me to match him. Only problem is, it upset and offended the other (live) owl (shih tzu) in the store. She wasn't given any feathers because she'd mistake them for lunch so instead she pouted on her snakeskin stump. Happy Winesday everyone! Or in Yoko's case, Happy Whine-day!

Dorm Update!

The girls made it safely to their dorm and boy, does it look cute! Here's the finished product of the custom wall hangings! The chair covers also got a Ki touch-- They are going to have a floral ribbon under the letters soon too! Looks great!

Boozin' Brides

Engagement party.
Bridal Shower.
Bachorlette Party.
Wedding.

Some of these events happen multiple times... hopefully not the last one! So, one must be prepared to shower the bride with gifts at each event. Ki is here to help your wallet not buy a KitchenAid mixer for EVERY event. Might I suggest some fun memorable items to build up to the big day?
First, give the bride something to get her really excited for the commitment she's about to make. Something fun and exciting with her future name on it.
Next, it's getting closer to the big day so a gift that includes the groom might be nice.
Then the parties continue... so of course, give your bride some more fun drinkware. Maybe throw in a coordinating shot glass to really get her night crazy.
And now...The big day is here! She can officially sit on Sunday nights with her new husband and they can sip wine together and watch Netflix movies or hang out on the back porch barbequeing and drinking beers. It's official. They're married and now have the same last name!!

I Love it When They Call Me Big Poppa!

Happy Friday!! Now I know men don't dream of painted glass, especially to celebrate their soon to be baby girl (PINK!) soo I've come up with a glass to help out all those expecting fathers, especially during football season. Here's a happy soon-to-be Dad's beer mug which I'm sure he will have no problem filling (and finishing) come September 4th when FSU plays Samford. It takes two to make a baby (usually), so the mother shouldn't be the only one showered with gifts! Hopefully one of their gifts will be real garnet and gold hairbows for their new baby girl!

Hot Sun, Cool Tea

It may be close to fall, but it's still hotter than ever outside. Cool off with some iced tea. I'm working on making a healthy switch from Mt. Dew to iced tea. This Texas couple can do the same...

Custom Dorm

There's more to decorating than just a cute comforter...luckily Mrs. Hatcher knows that! I just completed some custom fabric panels for a UF dorm room. The roomies, Ally and Katie needed some wall decor to dress up their concrete walls so I was given this Pottery Barn comforter (on the left) for the inspiration of the panels. I made these names to be hung on their corresponding sides of the room. These fabric squares will be stretched over ikea frames. I don't have pictures of them put together but here are the (still wrinkled) fabrics. :Having trouble with decorating your space? Contact me to come up with some custom options for your room!

TGIB--Thank Goodness it's a Bucket!

TGIF!! Wooo It's Friday!! Stop by for a glass of wine (or water) and snack on some newly bought chocolates while you drop your extra clothing in the Children's Home bin and shop for fun things in Ki!! Yay for Fridays!! I've found a great new use for my faovrite ice buckets too! Just a reminder, they're acrylic and come in clear or pink and only $35!! The pink is my favorite but the clear goes better with my refreshment table...ice, candy, jewelry, headbands, does it really matter what you put in there?? It'll look cute no matter what! A collection of markers would look cute in the pink one on an activity/craft table. Just saying...

What Color Is Your Team?

Football season is almost here and that means fall is too! I love when fall starts to creep in and the weather starts to decrease from it's current sauna temps and I can wear a cardigan without feeling like I'm going to faint... and I especially love fall because I get to put on a garnet dress every Saturday, accessorize with my favorite gold jewelry and watch my team play! Now I know not everyone has nice things to say about my team, so Ki will support all the other teams as well. I'm pulling all nighters in my studio trying to prepare the store with all it's game day necessities. I've got garnet & gold, green & gold, orange & blue, red & pewter, and navy & blue drinkware on the way. What other colors would you like Ki to carry? Comment and let me know! Every fan needs to have a memorable game day. Yoko still remembers her first game day...
P.S. Those stemless wine glasses are plastic!! BPA-free and unbreakable!! Perfect for tailgating!

Wine Glass($18),Plastic Stemless($5),Beer Mug($15),Shot Glass($7),Champagne($12)

It's a Wainy Winesday

Happy Winesday everyone! It's a rainy day today so stay dry by stopping by Ki for a glass of wine in your new Ki glass($18)! I've also got cool new wine stoppers/pourers($15). Notice it on the purple bow($7.50) bottle. And I LOVE these new super sturdy acrylic ice buckets! They come in two sizes--this is the large size($40). And of course, underneath the bucket is the new placemat in black ($4).

Yoko & Miso

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was a scene from Dr. Dolittle. It began Thursday night when poor Yoko had a mishap at the groomers and became very sick...
Luckily after a trip to the vet Saturday morning and lots of pain killers/antibiotics/steroids, she began feeling well enough to welcome a new baby sister into the house on Sunday...Miso, the cat. As well as have her friend Coco over on Monday.
Meet Miso:
I have adopted her after a person who my mom knows found a garbage bag at one of his development sites and picked it up thinking it was trash. Unfortunately, yet fortunately, it moved when he picked it up. He thought it was a snake or some other rodent type animal so when he opened it he was very disturbed to find a cat! She had been poisoned (lime green anti-freeze stain now on her foot) and tied in a garbage bag to die in the Florida heat! She weighs in at 6 lbs but that is slowly changing as I am spoiling her with plates full of kitten food. She hasn't officially met Yoko, but Yoko has kindly donated a couple of her beds to her...yes, Yoko has 6 beds. Miso also had a few staring contests with her and the other furby, Coco McTaggart, yesterday...no full dog-cat contact yet though. The Oko-Oco girls are quite crazy and enjoyed running full speed, as shih tzus do, through all the hallways--pushing every rug into a jumbled mess.
On a non-animal note (kind of), I've got some cute new placemats that can also be used as cutting boards. They come in black and white and you can get your pet's name on it for under their food or a set of monogrammed ones for your table. Yoko and Miso both have them under their food dishes and I've also got a white one in the kitchen for cutting Ki water jug lemons on every morning! I love them!!
