The Maldonados!

The happy couple will be married today! Luckily they picked up a Ki car sign for their big day! Congratulations to the both of you!!

It's one of my favorite times of year: School supply shopping time! I used to LOVE getting my supply list in the mail and making a trip to the store to load up on new notebooks and packs of inky pens! Stop by Ki to see what fun things we have to spiff up your backpack! Vinyl monograms make your supplies look AWESOME and I love-love-LOVE these crayon carriers! They come with the crayons and are perfect to throw in a back pack, or in a mom's purse! I mean, how cool would you look in a restaraunt if you rolled out your stash of the rainbow and all the surrounding kids only have the 3 randomly chosen colors the hostess gave them?? They'll have green speghetti sauce while yours is the perfect shade of red! All the prints are super stylish! We have a boy friendly pattern too!

Tu-tu-today is Friday!

So I stumbled upon this desk on one of my favorite blogs Absolutely Beautiful Things and I became obsessed with it!

Unfortunately my store is probably smaller than this store's bathroom, so a tutu desk would not fit! After this sad realization I tried to figure out what type of black tutu WOULD be acceptable here and I found the perfect thing: my window girl!!! I removed her pink and green apron and have now began to tie strips of black tulle all around her. Here she is so far...

I think it makes for a smooth transition into the fall. Her pink & green apron was looking too spring! I'm still in the process of finishing her though so for today she will have to accept the fact that she's flashing all of MacDill in a tulle mini skirt!

Thirsty Thursday

I had a lovely day today rearranging my baby items! Thank goodness it's almost time for the weekend. I'm sure some people are starting their happy hour weekend regmine tonight, so grab your favorite glass and drink up. Doesn't matter what your fave drink is, as long as you're happy. Maybe it's juice...? Maybe it's milk...? As long as it's drank from a Ki cup, it's ok with me! Maybe it's one of these new items??

Personalized bottles are BPA free! So no need to worry! Also they can be used on the top rack of the dishwasher--Yayy for mommy's cleaning!

These Little Limes are suuuuuupper cute as well. Perfect for your sweet child to grow and mature from milk to apple juice!

Must Love Dogs

I spotted these cute dessert plates from West Elm. Although I don't see a shih tzu, I still love them! Yay for doggy silhouettes!

Congratulations to all the people who got married over the weekend! Ya'll are all brave for marrying in the middle of steamy July.
Cheers to the Florida Southern couple who wed on Friday.

And to The Pope's who got married on Saturday. I forgot to take a picture of their monogrammed casserole dish...oops! Their wedding was super cute and fun--I'm just glad I didn't melt! I loved their burlap table settings!

And a future cheers to the soon to be Maldanados this coming Saturday!

On the Road Again...

I've only been in town a little over a day and I'm already leaving again... The store will remain open though! Come admire the happy new window daisies!

I'm headed to a wedding in the Georgia sun! I've packed my dancing shoes and will be breaking it down on this farm...

The happy couple will be getting a super cute wedding gift! Yay. I can't post it yet though--it'd ruin the surprise!
Hopefully by next week new things will be rolling in... Here are some of the items my front porch is waiting for...

Thirsty Thursday

It's another scorcher today...For all of you who get to go to the beach or cool off in the pool: Pick up one of these coolers! They are super cute and can be personalized to say just about anything (Name/initials are recommended!). They also come with a bottle opener (attached!) to crack open any Coronas that may accompany you! Just remember to bring a cup to pour your beer into--no glass by the pool!

I just completed some hippy friendly glassware for a custom order. These two things are for two different people, but both are tye-dye fans. The shot glasses are perfect for a summer celebration!

Make Room for Market!

We have been studying the catalogs all week...

Stripe or Strip?

So it seems I've got two options: strip down to my bikini to keep cool or stripe the window? I think I'll go with the stripes. Since the sun enjoys boiling my spacious store all day long, I am working on some vertical striped panels to dress up the window display as well as block out some of the heat! Here's the first side complete. I'm hoping I will finish sewing the other side's panel tonight! Don't mind the small girl reflected in the photo, as well as the entire street view also reflected...gotta love the bright sun!!!!

Splish-Splash! Hang Me Near a Bath!

I just completed these fun sea animals! They are going to be hung on a bathroom wall for soon-to-be-born twin boys!
They will be hung over the toilet in here:

If you know me, you know I love dogs...maybe even more than humans? So I'm happy to introduce the new dog silhouettes! Tell me your breed or even bring me a picture of your dog to have a custom silhouette made for your bookshelf or wall! They are super cute!

LO-ving these letters!

These bright babies will be hanging on a bermuda blue wall and are sure to pop! I love how happy they came out!

Ki Party!

My friends Sara and Ellen are getting ready to move to New York, so I threw them a going away party last night. Here are some pictures of the table set up. Please note the Ki Design NYC candles as well as all the paper plates from Ki Design! They looked so good you wouldn't even know they were paper!! The paper was especially helpful come clean up time!
